Student Tutorials

In addition to the ePATs, these tutorials can be used to help familiarize students, parents, and educators with the format of computer-based assessments. In each tutorial, images and animation illustrate how to navigate through the test and use the tools available in the computer-based assessments, while a narrator explains the various screens, icons, and features the student will encounter during testing. The sample items included in the tutorials are for demonstration purposes only, showing the various item types students will encounter during testing. They are not intended to replicate the difficulty of the items on the test but are similar in content and format.

Students who will participate in computer-based assessments are encouraged to use these tutorials to help them prepare; however, viewing the tutorials does not replace the required practice test (ePAT) sessions conducted at schools prior to testing.
